Norah Besmar is a 2022 graduate from Walled Lake Northern H.S. who will be attending Oakland University to major in Veterinary Medicine. Norah hopes to open her own practice in the future.

Matthew Peal is a 2022 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending the University of Michigan to major in Communications and Media.

Emma Callender is a 2021 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Michigan State University to major in Biology. Emma hopes to work in the medical field.

Braeden Lunsford is a 2021 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Oakland University to major in Business Marketing. Braeden hopes to eventually own his own business.

Payten Mukavetz is a 2020 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending the University of Maryland. She will be studying Criminology with plans to join the secret service.

Gavin Mouton is a 2020 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Western Michigan University in the fall. He will major in Psychology and minor in Criminal Justice.

Alyssa Link is a 2019 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who plans to begin her college career at Oakland Community College and hopes to become an Ultrasound Technician.

Aaron Rudman is a 2019 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Michigan State University in the fall to pursue a degree in Film Studies.

Jordan Tokarz is a 2018 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Michigan State University in the fall where she hopes to pursue a degree in business.

Nicholas Fernandez is a 2018 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Grand Valley State University and will be pursuing an electrical engineering major.

Nicole LaFrance is a 2017 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending the University of Alabama in the fall to study Occupational Therapy.

Samuel Adams ​is a 2017 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending the University of Michigan to obtain a yet to be determined undergraduate degree.

Samantha Grudzien ​is a 2016 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending the University of Michigan to study cognitive science and neuroscience.

Ryan Arnoldi ​is a 2016 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Western Michigan University where he will be majoring in Biomedical Sciences.

Rachel is attending Aquinas College where she will be majoring in Sustainable Business and double minoring in Environmental Studies and Spanish Language and Culture. 

Tyler Nicewarner is going to the University of Missouri to work towards a B.S. degree and then continue on to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon.

Allison Albright is a 2014 grad who going to Michigan State University to study neuroscience. Thereafter, she plans on becoming a child psychiatrist or pediatrician.

Phillip, who will be attending Oakland University said, “Being awarded this scholarship was so eye-opening to me. It made me realize how much this life we live means to all of us.”

Alex Glasson is a 2013 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School and will be attending the University of Michigan where he is undecided by leaning towards a communications degree.

Shelby will be attending Saginaw Valley State University and majoring in Occupational Therapy. She is a part of the Living Leadership Program for Freshmen and plans to participate in student council.

Evan will be attending the University of Michigan to complete a degree in mechanical, civil, or industrial engineering and plans to continue on to pursue a master’s degree in engineering.

Michaila will be attending the University of Michigan to study biology. She is interested in the field of biomedical engineering and genetics and would like to become a geneticist or genetic counselor.

Kirk Thomas is a 2012 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Kalamazoo College in the fall to study business finance or sports management.

Kristina Weltzin is a 2011 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who plans to attend Harvard, Notre Dame or Northwestern University to study biomedical engineering or medicine.

Molly Bradley is a 2010 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who plans to attend Davenport University to study Sports Management and play volleyball.

Jason Tucker would like to attend either Michigan State University or Central Michigan University to pursue a pre-med degree with the goal of becoming a pediatrician or general practitioner in the future.

Madison Colegrove is a 2009 graduate from Walled Lake Northern High School who will be attending Michigan State University to major in psychology with a goal to become a psychology teacher.

Austin Richards will be attending Oberlin College in Oberlin, OH, to pursue an undergraduate degree in economics and finance. He will also be playing football for Oberlin as an outside linebacker.

Rachel will attend Grand Valley State University to study professional writing with a minor in political science or business. She would like to also pursue a Master’s degree and become a published writer.

Tim is a 2006 graduate of Walled Lake Northern H.S. According to Tim, this scholarship will, “significantly help my finances as a full-time student at Grove City College where I will be studying entrepreneurship.”

Cameron is a 2005 graduate of Walled Lake Northern High School who is currently enrolled at Western Michigan University. He has an undeclared major but, at this time, his heart is set on Communications.
